Before manufacturing rough-terrain forklifts and rough-terrain dumpers, we built tractors and agricultural machinery.
Our story began in 1958 in Amorebieta (Bizkaia), with a very clear idea: to develop robust, reliable machinery designed around the real needs of people working in the field.
More than six decades have passed since then. Machines, technologies and our customers’ needs have changed, but one thing remains: our knowledge of machinery and our passion for engineering.
From agriculture to rough-terrain machinery
In the early years, Agria Hispania focused on agricultural machinery, initially importing equipment from Agria Werke in Germany. The positive response to these machines led us to begin assembling agricultural equipment at our facilities in Amorebieta.
As the company grew, a new stage began: developing and manufacturing our own machinery.
During the 1970s, Agria Hispania began manufacturing its own machines, specialising in articulated tractors, walking tractors and other agricultural machinery. The experience gained during those years laid the foundations of the industrial expertise that remains part of AGRIMAC today.
A story that began with tractors
Our Agria tractors are an essential part of our heritage.
Models that worked for decades on farms and demanding terrain gave us a deep understanding of qualities that remain fundamental to our machines today:
traction, robustness, mechanical simplicity, productivity and adaptability to the terrain.
That experience did not disappear as our range evolved. It became expertise.
And that expertise has guided every new generation of machines.

One factory. One story. One way of doing things.
More than six decades later, we remain rooted in the same industrial home in Amorebieta.
Our experience has evolved from the first tractors and walking tractors to today’s rough-terrain forklifts, dumpers and machinery solutions for demanding terrain.
Today we manufacture machines that combine generations of experience with new technologies and new ways of understanding machinery.
Because our heritage is not only about looking back; our heritage is everything we have learned so that we can keep moving forward.
The tractors that shaped our history
Experience that still works today
From those first tractors to today’s rough-terrain machines, the evolution has been remarkable.
But the essence remains the same: Understanding the terrain, listening to the operator and building machines that are ready to work.
That is our heritage, and it is the foundation on which we are building the future.
